A full architecture and interior design concept for a private villa in Dubai — a project of genuine scale and ambition. The brief asked for opulence without restraint: palatial proportions, hand-crafted detailing, and materials chosen for their rarity and presence.
The contemporary living loft anchors the scheme with Roberto Cavalli furnishings — a deep grey modular sofa, sculptural green armchairs, and a dramatic floor-to-ceiling shelving unit in brushed gold — framed by full-height glazing that opens the space to the Dubai skyline and palm-lined waterfront beyond.
The formal reception rooms shift register entirely into classical grandeur: ivory and champagne throughout, hand-carved gilt furniture, Baccarat crystal chandeliers, and intricate plasterwork ceilings with gold-leaf medallions. The formal dining rooms each carry their own character — one in white marble and mirror with a 16-seat gilded table, another in a warmer ivory with sculptural carved-back chairs beneath a cascading crystal pendant. Together they define a home that is unapologetically grand, and entirely considered.
